What? Rock (without the roll) in the Cemetery - Come and explore the new Stone Spiral, with its huge blocks of different rocks. Discover how well (or how badly!) the Victorians selected and carved their tombstones and how the memorials have fared since. Let the stones tell you something about the evolution of the Earth itself, and of the British Isles in particular.
When? Monday 22nd May 2006 from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm
Where? Meet at the refurbished gatehouse of the Cemetery, Cemetery Avenue, off Ecclesall Road, (A625), Sheffield, S11.

Things to take to the event - Normal warm, waterproof clothing. Shoes that don't mind a bit of mud.
Is there any safety advice that people need to know in advance? Avoid slipping on horizontal grave slabs. Keep away from any leaning grave slabs.
