Saturday 25th April - Rock, Mineral and Fossil Roadshow at the Treasure House in Beverley. Free admission; sorry no valuations; 11 am to 3pm.

Sunday 3rd May - Threshfield (public field meeting) led by Ian Heppenstall. Part of Yorkshire Geology Month.

Saturday 30th May 2009 - "Fossil Fossick at Hornsea" (public field meeting) led by Stuart Jones. Part of Yorkshire Geology Month. Starts at 2pm. Families welcome.

Saturday 6th June - afternoon boat trip to view that Chalk Contortions at Old Dor, Flamborough. (booking required - please contact the Secretary a.s.a.p. if you are interested, costs ten pounds).

Saturday 4th July - Welton-le-Wold, Lincolnshire (field meeting) led by John Aram.

Saturday 11th July - (field meeting) Cayton Bay led by Barrie Heaton.

Saturday 29th August - Roadshow at Hornsea Museum, admission to Roadshow is free. Open to the public from 11 am until 3 pm; sorry no valuations.

Sunday September 6th - (field meeting) the Quaternary geology of Dane's Dyke and South Landing led by Ian Heppenstall.

Sunday 25th October - joint field meeting with the Yorkshire Geological Society.
