A)- Choose one of the forms of Buddhism and write about its arrival in the West - the person who introduced it or changes it has undergone to become more suitable for the needs of western people.

OR 'What does Buddhism have to offer the west?' OR 'Can aspects of Buddhist practice be incorporated into other religions?

B)- Write about the development of one of the Mahayana schools of Buddhism, either in Tibet, China or Japan.

C)- Write a report on one of the scriptures you have studied. Does it differ in any way from 'Basic Buddhism'?

D) -Compare two or more translations of the Dhammapada (there are several books available as well as some free on the world-wide-web). What do the differences tell you about the aims of the translators? What are the impliactions for anyone studying or practicing a religion through selected translated texts?
